I am a Mozambican professional who has lived in over 5 different countries. I am a passionate practical learner who wants to absorb and apply knowledge derived from different experiences I have had across the globe and across sectors, into any professional environment. I am a curious individual who always strives to overachieve and focuses on the bigger picture at all times.
Pendo was born into the famous Masote musical family in Johannesburg, where he showed an interest in the violin as an infant. He had his first lessons with Elizabeth Rennie at the age of five. In 2014 he became a pupil of Irina Tsoniff. He is a currently a first-year student at the Royal College of Music in London, under the tutelage of Yuri Zshlin.
Popularly known as Kgole, is an accomplished artist known for his unique use of Anaglyphs in his works. He creatively uses different versions of his composite photographic images, printed in varying colors, onto canvas before applying collage and paint. The viewer then experiences the work through glasses with red and blue filter lenses, creating an immersive 3D effect.
Rising star Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha won the Song Prize at the 2021 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition and is a current BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist. Rnagwanasha has in 2023 done a national tour of South Africa with the Mzansi philharmonic orchestra. Pendo Masote was part of the orchestra as well and she performed at the RMB starlight extravaganza in Auckland Park.
